21 Days Prayer & Fasting

Every year at Metro Believers Church, we make it a priority to seek God first through a time of prayer and fasting. We have provided resources for those of you who have committed to prayer and fasting from Feb 2 to Feb 27, 2022. We are so glad you’ve decided to set aside this time and start the year off seeking God in a powerful way. 


There are several different ways to fast. You can do a Complete fast... which is fasting all food and only taking in liquids for nourishment. You can do a Selective Fast such as a Daniel fast...This a fast that allows you to eat things like fruits and vegetables, but not sugar, meat or bread.  For info on what a Daniel Fast is you can click here and here. Note:  There is a lot of info on fasting on this site, so take some time and really look it over.  There is also a cookbook available for downloading online. Other types of fasts might be things like fasting sugar and breads. You can do a Soul fast, which is fasting things that enter your spirit. Examples would be fasting television or social media, or any number of things.  We like to say, just make sure you feel it.  

Fasting is an amazing way to take the focus off yourself, and place it on God. When you find yourself craving something, take a second to pray and remind yourself that God has first place in your life.
